Sneek Peek....

Today I'm giving you a little sneek peek of one of the new releases for October at Claudia & Co. Stamps! This smiley little guy is designed by our fab new addition to the C&C team, designer Jane Beljo. His name is Mr. Smiles!

You know when you have a card layout in mind and have it all sorted out in your head how you're going put it together and when the time comes Mr. Mojo decides to take a little nap? Thats what happened to me with this card. I had the perfect papers by My Little Shoe Box and I just could get it to come out right. Sigh, just one of those days...

Mr. Smiles was coloured with my copics with some shading added with my prismacolor pencils. I cut him out and popped him on the card! This little cutie will be available for purchase starting October 1st, when we will be having our big release blog hop! So make sure you come back to see the other cute stamps being released! So cute!

See you Friday!!! Thanks for stopping by!

A sweet treat....

Happy Monday morning to everyone! Today I have a 'sweet treat' to show you! I found this great little tutorial on THIS BLOG (Dawn's Stamping Thoughts) she's got a step by step video and its super easy and quick to put together! I knew it would be perfect not only for halloween coming up but also for birthday cards. When finished it holds a roll of Rockets (my son's fav!) or I believe they're called Smarties in the U.S. Same candy different name, which I don't get cause the only Smarties I eat are CHOCOLATE....lol!!!!

Anyway, here's the little treat holder/card:
I used Birthday Lily from Claudia & Co. Stamps for my little sweet treat holder. She is available HERE and is on sale right now, so be sure to swing by DCRU to see what other deals are going on. I coloured her up using my copic markers and added some shading with my prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I added lots of stardust stickles to the balloon, her bow, polkadots and shoes. The inside reads: 'A little treat for someone sweet! Happy Birthday!' I finised it off with some lace from the dollar store and a button!

Remember Claudia & Co. still has a great challenge going on which ends on October 5th! You can load up your card on the link HERE!

Also this friday marks the day for a brand new release for Claudia & Co. Stamps and our big blog hop. I'll be posting a little sneek peek this week just to get you ready for the cuteness that is coming!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great Monday!

Here comes trouble...

With a capital T!!! lol, naw this little guy is too cute to cause trouble don't you think?
This is Baby Jack from Claudia & Co. Stamps,
one of the brand new Puddle Jumpers by Lori Boyd!
He can be purchased HERE and is made from deep etched red rubber, and also comes pre-mounted on cling cushion, ready to be trimmed and slapped on acrylic blocks.

I have to say that little baby Jack is at the top of my favourites list, he's sooooo cute and super quick to whip up a card with. I made this using my copics, some MS dp, SU button and twine and I've had that rub-on saying for ever and thought it went perfect for this little growing concern..haha!

Our current 'COLOUR RED' challenge is still going on and doesn't end until October 5th so you still have lots of time to play along. You can link up your card HERE!

Have a great Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

Black & White Challenge!

Happy Saturday!
Today at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps we have a fun challenge from our super sweet and talented Donna!
She's come up with a BLACK & WHITE challenge theme for us!

I have to admit this definately was a challenge for me...I love my copics and really wanted to use this image (Fred & Ginger) but I couldn't wrap my brain around only black and white! SO, I broke out my embossing powders and tools (that have seen no love lately), and did some experimenting. I first tried the white embossing on black cardstock and although it turned out nicely the image was kinda hard to sort out with all of the detail (thanks to the feedback from a friend ;) so, I reversed it and embossed with black powder on white. I also broke out my old Stampin Up Pastels and added some chalk (sorry I couldn't resist adding some blush to her cheeks....so there's a little more than black and white on my card)! I've just started Breaking Dawn (the last of the Twilight series) and this reminds me of Bella and Edward (except the 'old school' vampire, Cullen is a 'TAD' more handsome than this fella!)....I had to make this romantic by adding the flourish paper and soft bow and the pins. And I couldn't resist adding the black tear drop (taken from some cheap earrings) to the sentiment (gotta love the buck store!).

Anyway, great challenge from Donna! If you want to see more B&W samples check out the challenge blog and play along with us this week, if you do, you'll be in the running for some KKRubber!!!

Have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by!

Krafty Peeks Day 1

Kraftin Kimmie Stamps September release is coming! On Sunday to be exact! That means you'll be seeing lots of little sneek peeks from all of the Krafty Girls over the next few days!
Today I'm introducing you to Samantha by artist Annie Rodrigue!
Isn't she sassy? She really reminded me of Madonna in the 80's so I added the mole and used those neon 80's colours and tried to capture the material girl as best as I could!

I stamped her on Beckett Expression paper and coloured her up with my copics. I added some clear spica glitter pen to her eyelids and lips (can't see on the pictures). I don't know who that dp is by, but I'm lovin' it right now, so I used it again for this card. It seemed to work. I used one of my Martha Stewart border punches and added a rhinestone border to add some bling!

Make sure you stop by all of the Krafty Girls today to catch more amazing sneek peeks! And be sure to come back on Sunday for our big Blog Hop - always so much fun!

Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back tomorrow with another peek! Have a great day!

It's Sketch Time!

Welcome to another Saturday Challenge with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!
Today we have a fantastic sketch by our super talented Michele!

I used Lillith for my card, as she is one of my very favourite KK Stamps! She was coloured using copics, then cut with my "rectangle" nestabilities. I can't remember who the heart dp is by, but the green gingham is from Martha Stewart. I tried to follow the sketch as closely as possible. I got that cute little heart charm from The Town Scrapper! I chose to leave off the sentiment so it could be used for any occasion!

So if you want a chance to win some Krafty Rubber just play along with us this week!

Also, get ready 'cause next week is the big September Release!!! Woo Hoo!

Thanks for stopping by!
