A sketch challenge at TPE!

Another happy Monday to everybody! Lets get right to it and see what fun we can have this week over at THE PINK ELEPHANT! This weeks challenge is to use this fabulous sketch! I had alot of fun with this one & I tried a new technique....
For my card I used the new image from BabyBudDesigns called Daisy Bud. Isn't she so cute? I coloured her in with my copics and sponged around the edges with some chalk ink while she was still in the circle nestie. I used some great dp from Pink Paislee (pink gingham) and Basic Grey (green floral) and tried to follow the sketch to a T.

I thought it would be fun to try and make some circle paper flowers that I've been seeing in all the magazines I I gave it a shot. It was pretty easy, only a bit time consuming cutting & crumpling all the little circles. (I did have a crumple helper, thanks Mom!). They hold nicely together with a brad in the middle. I even added a little teeny tiny flower in her hands....that was interesting to! I loved this sketch, I know you will too!

Be sure to head over to THE PINK ELEPHANT blog to see the gorgeous creations the Design Team has made, you won't be disapointed!

Hope you have a great week! Thanks for stopping by!
