I think I got carried away with the flower/ribbon embellishment but I saw some great new 'do it yourself' flowers in the new scrapbooks etc. magazine, and I had to try it! Plus it used up all my little scrap ribbon pieces that I never know what to do with!
As usual I coloured the image in with my copic markers and added some stickles and popped it on the card base. The little squiggles coming out from under the button was actually created by mistake. I love using my Karen Foster Scrappers Floss for the centre of buttons, a few days ago I ended up permanently adhering a button down with the long paper strings hanging out, so instead of 'losing' it, I took the end of a very fine paintbrush and twirled it to create a little swirly! I love how good things come from mistakes!
Enjoy your day!

What a fabulous card!!
ReplyDeleteOoh! This is gorgeous! And you're right, it does remind me of the Dove campaign. Sort of a cross between that, and the new American Girls collection. But I love how it celebrates women of all different types and ethnicities. And I also really adore that ribbon tab flower. I'd love to learn how you did it. Maybe a tutorial is in order?
ReplyDeleteAn Absolutely Gorgeous Card
