I made this card and bookmark for my son's birthday. He's a huge reader (which I love) and he can always use a bookmark. I don't know how many books I've found laying around with a kleenex marking his place... I know I can't make him those cutesy cards anymore...so these may seem plain but I know its masculine enough that he won't open it and say 'mom I'm not 4 anymore'....'SIGH'...they grow up so fast...
Dr. Seuss quotes are my absolute favourite!!!!
Fabulous projects. Love the bold colours.

ReplyDeleteHow cute!! I love Dr. Seuss as well. Is the cat in the hat a stamp or a button of some sort? I love it. I have searched the world over (LOL) for Dr. Seuss stamps. Can't find too many. Thanks so much. Sandy C.
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome card for that boy in transition from little to big. (he thinks) Our sons never get that they will always be our little boys! When I taught school I always included dear old Dr. Seuss...he has so many great lessons for life and I love your quote! I hope he is always an avid reader...his life will be so enriched! What a proud mama you are!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that saying! I truly like the red and black too! Your son will love it!
