Another fun challenge with KKS...

HAPPY SATURDAY!!!

Yay, its the very first Challenge of 2013 with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!  I hope you can join us!!!

Today our challenge is being hosted by Krafty Girl Kim O!  She's called this one Animal Farm!  Thats right, she wants to see you use an image with an animal on it!  For my card I used the adorable newer image, Lexi with cat from the Best Fur-iends stamp set found HERE!

I decided to do what I do best and go CAS (clean and simple). One-panel cards are my favourite to do. I also always think they are going to take less time, but with the way I colour (I take for-ever!!!) and how I hum and haw over every little detail, it ends up taking the same amount of time if I were using patterned papers, sketches etc...

I stamped Lexi onto some Beckett Expression paper and went to work with my copics and prismacolor pencils.  Did you notice her socks?  I did that because my daughter almost ALWAYS has mismatched socks on!  You can imagine how excited I was so stumble upon that store called Little Miss Matched in downtown Disney a few years ago.  They're all mis-matched but they all match when worn together!  Brilliant I say!

Anyway, I used my Stampin Up scallop border punch for the bottom, made some score lines around the edges and added some big purple buttons and some ribbon and twine to finish it off.

I hope you play along with us this week, one lucky winner will win some very Krafty Rubber!!!  You can check out the rest of the wonderful samples from the Krafty Girls HERE!

Have a great weekend!!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Time for another KKS challenge...

Welcome back to another fun challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!  Today Krafty Girl Elaine wants to see some Christmas cards or projects!  Don't forget to use those Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps to be eligible to win some very Krafty Rubber!

Here's my card for the challenge:
For my card I used the adorable stamp with Lulu holding the star from the Holiday Lulu and Libby stamp set.  I coloured her in with my copics and used a Trinket sentiment from the Happy Holidays stamp set!  I just love the trinkets stamps, they really finish off a card nicely while adding a sentiment.  I cut her out with a spellbinders die and added a bit of red ribbon and some bling to finish it off.

Make sure you hop over to the Kraftin Kimmie Blog to see some amazing samples from the rest of the design team!  Don't forget to play along with us!  Hope you enjoy your weekend!

Eeeee, I'm back with a new KKS Challenge!

Hey Krafty people!  I'm happy to be back in the swing of things again.  I forgot how much crafting/colouring makes me happy.  What a big stress reliever too!  Today at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, we have a super fun challenge for you!  Krafty Girl Kerry wants to see some sort food/drink theme on your creation.
I've used the adorable stamp GRACE (can be found HERE).  She comes with the sentiment Have a Sweet Holiday!  I coloured Grace up using copic markers in colours to match the new winter paper line from BoBunny called Powder Mountain!  This paper pad is awesome!!!  I added some buttons from Pebbles Inc and that sweet metal cookie jar charm was meant to used with Grace!  My mojo is slowly coming back...it needs a little kick start, maybe once I find the rest of my crafty stuff it will get better...right now I'm just wingin' it scrounging for stuff in all of our moving boxes...'sigh'...

I hope you will play along with us today, you'll have a chance to win some Krafty rubbah!  Make sure you check out the rest of the Krafty Girls and what they have to show you today!

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
