A Friday Challenge!!!
I coloured most of the image with copics and paper pieced the chick's outfit and the bunny's feet, tummy and ears. I add some flower soft for the grass and scattered some round stickers as 'eggs' in hiding - awaiting to be found! I also added some frosted lace stickles to the egg, leaves and carrot! I used my new Martha Stewart flower border punch, it also punches out the little flowers (makes for perfect embellishments). I added more of the round stickers to the border and a yellow ribbon with a pink button with a bow to finish it all off!
Be sure to head over to The Town Scrapper Blog, check out what the fabulous DT have for you today and play this week for your chance to win a great little prize!
Have a great Weekend!

3 Buttons Challenge over at The Town Scrapper!
Today over at The Town Scrapper is the start of another fun challenge. This weeks challenge is called 3 Buttons Challenge! Thats it, plain and simple, just incorporate 3 buttons (no more, no less) into your card creation. Here's my sample:
I personally love these stamps because the little Evan boy reminds me of my son. He is much older now, these pictures were taken a few years ago....sigh! Where does the time go?
I better move on before I abandon this post to run and grab my son's scrapbooks for a trip down memory lane....(you all know what I'll be doing this afternoon...lol)
I stamped Evan onto Bella's Bestest Paper (my fav) and coloured him in using my copics!
I always struggle with masculine cards, so the button theme worked out well! What a great Father's Day card this stamp makes! This card is pretty simple, all the paper, buttons etc...was from my stash drawer (that I'm always trying to whittle down).
We would love to see your 3 button creations, be sure to swing by The Town Scrapper and link up your card for your chance to win a great little prize!
Another Note:
Phebe at The Town Scrapper is hosting a super Fundraising Event on March 27th, 2010 in Petrolia Ontario. This cardmaking event will run from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. She has planned three separate demos with three of her brand new Victoria Case images! The Demos will include watercoloring by Phebe, and copic demonstrations by Melanie and myself. I can't wait to see these ladies in action, their techniques and colouring are amazing! As I'm NOT copic certified I will just be sharing how I colour with my copics, and what works best for me. I am looking forward to having lots of fun, meeting new people and making some great cards! If you are interested, please contact Phebe as she only has a few spots left! Looking forward to seeing you there!
Well thats it for today's post, have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

Exclusive New Stamps at The Town Scrapper!
Victoria Case has been illustrating for over 25 years and The Town Scrapper is so happy and excited to be able to bring her gorgeous designs to you on rubber!
The design team have been lucky enough to have a chance to play with these sweet stamps, that are just perfect for just about anything!!!
The new release includes 6 stamps! 3 girl images and 3 boy images all with matching sentiments!
For this card I used the sweet image "Sophie Feeding the Birds"! What a fun image to colour! I love her hair! I tried to make it as summery as possible so I chose a bright yellow for the card base. This paper is embossed with lots of flowers and sunbursts - its soooo pretty, perfect for this theme. Everything you see above, can be found at The Town Scrapper - I just love the new dp from Imaginisce too. Sophie is coloured with copic markers. I added some stickles to the flowers on her shorts and the ribbon on her hat. And of course I had to add lots of prima flowers to finish it off!!!
The weather is beautiful here today! Maybe I'll go feed the birds somewhere!!! Yay for spring!!!
