HUGS!!!

Here's a card featuring Baby Bud 'Owie', the new stamps from C.C.Designs! If you are interested in winning some of these new stamps see my post for my blog candy running until March 30th, all you have to do is leave a comment! These stamps are also available at All that scraps!

I coloured Owie with my copic markers and shaded around him using prisma color pencils (gotta get to one of those classes!). The DP is from Basic Grey. I added a strip of SU polkadot ribbon and the funky stitched fabric tree is from Prima's fabric shapes line.

I'm entering this card over at Sketch and Stash Challenge blog. I followed their great sketch and as for the stash count? I used my Brand new BabyBud Owie stamp from C.C.Designs and also the Prima Fabric Tree that I've been dyin' to incorporate on a card!

This card is also for the challenges over at:

Well thanks for stopping by, I hope you're enjoying some nice warm weather wherever you are!
I'm lovin' it here, no more snow, yay!

Thanks for stopping by!

Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays, Sketch Challenge!!!

My friend Lisa asked me to be a guest designer for the September 26 Challenge over at the Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays blog. Of course I said YES!!! How fun is that? This week's challenge was a sketch challenge, as seen below. SSDS have weekly challenges and give away great prizes, check out the blog, and join in on the fun! Also, check out Lisa's blog a member of SSDS's design team, to see her awesome creation!!! I love sketch challenges, they make it very easy to complete a card and sometimes challenge you to think outside the box a little. This one did just that for me! This is what I came up with, check it out... I used the adorable image 'Shy Hilda' by Motivet (you can find Motivet stamps at The Town Scrapper), coloured her with my copics and completely cut her out! I added some stickles to her hair bows to bling her up and it matched the DP from Heidi Grace Designs. I used pink Bazzill for the card base. The sentiment is from Stampin Up and the ribbon I had in my stash. I used pop dots to mount 'Hilda' to the card for some added dimension! I like how it turned out, sweet and simple! Thanks Lisa for asking me to play along! Check out the great prize for this week and play along with SSDS week 8 sketch for your chance to win! Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!
