Today I'm showing you ROXY!!! Isn't she totally rad? Those shorts scream 80's to me! She reminds me of the good old days of rollerskating at Wheels wearing my rainbow legwarmers, big plastic earrings and anything, well, NEON! lol...For those of you who were lucky enough to experience any kind of roller-rink shenanigans way back when, I'm sure you're familiar with the backwards figure 8, moonlight waltz, girls and boys only skates etc...One of my favorite songs to skate to was, 'You dropped a bomb on me' by The Gap Band...They even had this little 'disco' area off to the side with this urethane floor that lit up all funky and stuff. 'Sigh' those days of hangin out at the stinky skate counter are gone but not forgotten. Ok, thanks for humoring me on my little trip down memory lane. I hope you like Roxy as much as I do! Isnt' she so pretttttty? I intentionally left off the sentiment that comes with her (Thank you fairy much) with the thoughts of framing her. My daughter (and I, ahem...) love fairies and the colours on this will match her room! Now the task is to find a frame that will house a 6x6 pic with a mat! The hunt is on! I coloured her up with my copics and framed her in using the brand new Spellbinders die called Fancy Tags Three which I picked up at Scrappin' Great Deals. I love them, Melanie and I were drooling over them at Scrapfest last weekend! I had to get me some!

Krafty Peeks Day 2!!!!

Welcome to day 2 of Krafty Peeks for the new April Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we have some ADORABLE Dress Up Kids from Steven Leary!! Wait 'til you see them!! Perfect for kids cards, party invitations, scrapbook pages of those crazy kiddos!! And they're fairly small in size, so they're quick to colour up!!

The new Dress Up Kids will be available on Sunday (Release Day) at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop, along with some new Annie Rodrigue stamps that you will have to wait until tomorrow to see!!! So be sure to come on back!

Ok, so here's my card for today. Please meet Fireman Phil:

Fun right? I coloured him up with the following copics: Face: E0000,000,00,11, R20 Hair: E31,33,35. Hat/Jacket: R24,27,59 Boots/Hose: C1,4,5,7,Y17,21 Pants: W1,4,6.

I will now try to be really really good at leaving the colours I used on my cards)! I kept it pretty simple cause I wanted to showcase the cute little image and the cool 3d water stickers by Jolee I was finally able to put to use! (I picked them up at Walmart on clearance). The Dp is from a paper pak that I've lost the cover to...sorry! (but I believe its from My Minds Eye?)..I could be way off! Anyway I topped it off with a button and some twine. The inside says 'MAKE A SPLASH'!

Today at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps I get to play 'hostess'

I chose to make a pocket card again. I haven't made one in a while and they are super fast and fun to make. I usually follow this tutorial found on SCS HERE, by the fabulous Beate, one our veteran guest designers! I used Becky Broadsword which is now available for purchase in the Kraftin Kimmie Shop! Ok, I just noticed that I meant to type YAR birthday instead of YER...oops...it never fails! ANYWAY....(I'm so annoyed at myself right now...LOL...)...lets just say this little pirate has a lil' country in her!

Release day Blog Hop!

Today Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps is releasing their new JANUARY images! We’re kicking 2011 off with a bang as we have SIXTEEN new stamps for you!! For my card today I chose 'Olivia Orange'! My daughter shares the same name so I had to use this one! She comes with the sentiment shown on my card and some oranges for the accessory stamp. This image is all about the 'hair' don't cha think? I love it! And soooo much fun to colour too! This will be one of the cards for my upcoming copic class at Scrappin' Great Deals.

Hey Krafty peeps! Its day 2 of the Kraftin Kimmie Sneek Peeks and today we're all showcasing images from artist Steven Leary!

For my sneek peek I used 'Special Delivery'!

Too cute right? Perfect for any baby card! I used my copics to colour the image and found some cute blue gingham paper in my scrap bin to match the blue stork! I've had the eyelet lace trim sittin around for the longest time and think it is perfect for baby cards. Clean and simple and done in a flash!

Today I'm showing you Miles on Ice! Isn't he cute??? I love how he's sitting on the broken block of ice with the look of remorse on his little mousy face...too cute!!!

Here's a close up so you can see that I used some Crackle Accents on the ice, unfortunately it made my black ink run a bit. You still get the effect of the cracked ice though. Does any one know how to use it without it making your ink bleed?

Sneek Peek Day 2!!!

Welcome to day 2 of the sneek peeks for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today I'm featuring 'Skiing Miles' from Steven Leary!

I'm not a skiier (kinda goes with the whole 'not being a winter person'), but I loved this stamp when I saw it. He looks like he's having way too much fun and maybe just a little bit out of control which makes me chuckle! I coloured him up with my copics and used my nesties to frame him in. I added some white flower soft for the snow. The dp is by Imaginisce and I added a white bow and some green rhinestones to the centres of the snowflakes.

Kraftin' Kimmie Sneek Peek day 1!!!

The time has come again to start the previews for the brand new Kraftin Kimmie Stamps November release!

Over the next few days the Krafty Girls will be showing off some wonderful samples of the new line up of stamps illustrated by Annie Rodrigue and Steven Leary!

Today I'm showing you Annie the Painter!!!

Isn't she fabulous???? I love her hair, and outfit and how she comes with a blank canvas. My imagination started to run wild with that, but this is what I came up with in the end. I thought it would be fun to try and put a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp from Annie on the canvas. I chose Charlotte because she's one of my all time favourites and one of the best sellers!

I stamped Charlotte & Annie onto a piece of Neenah paper, then using my scanner, I scanned them into a word document. Once in Word, I shrunk Charlotte down until she fit nicely onto Annie's canvas. This took a bit of fiddling around but I eventually got it. Once she was on the canvas I printed her off on the remaining piece of Neenah. I cut out the front panel of the canvas and coloured her up (very carefully...lol), then paper pieced it to the original stamped image so it fit perfectly!!! Clear as mud??? lol!!! I must say I had the most fun colouring up the tiny little Charlotte!

I paper pieced Annie to match the dp from My Minds Eye. Added some orange candy dots and ribbon to finish it off!

Krafty Peeks Day 2

I coloured these guys using my copics, then added some shading with my prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I added some glitter to the candle and popped it on some circles and added some final touches with the buttons and ribbon.
