Remembrance Day, November 11th.

Every year on November 11, Canadians pause in a moment of silence to honour and remember the men and women who have served, and continue to serve Canada during times of war, conflict and peace. We remember the more than 1,500,000 Canadians who have served throughout our nation’s history and the more than 118,000 who made the ultimate sacrifice.  Thank you!

Learn to pause....

Now that 2013 is quickly coming to a close I've promised myself to post all of the things I've created but haven't put on my blog.  This one fell through the cracks of the many 'unorganized' photos I have on my computer....

 The girl stamp is from Stamping Bella and I coloured her in with copic markers, prismacolor pencils and golden acrylic paints.  Lots of green and brown paints, inks etc...were used (which are usually not my 1st choice, but I had to challenge myself to do something different).  

I love this sentiment, (from Tim Holtz Just Thoughts stamp set)...reminds me to slow down and enjoy life!
