Today at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps we are sharing a new set by the totally talented Emilie Goulet! We've got a perfect set for spring!  Let us introduce..... For my card today I decided to use the adorable new Pixie with teddy and paired it with a brand new Fairy Trinket! 

 

I chose to go CAS with this one, well, for the simple fact that I coloured her up without choosing my dp first.  I usually don't pick an 'exact' paper before I start with the copics, but I know my stash pretty well and can usually match things up pretty easily once its done.  As you can see I was feeling a bit colourful with her.  I did look for some dp but in the end I really wanted her fun colours to stand out.  That's when my Washi tape stepped in to save the day!!!!  And the rest is history...

 

Cutie Pie...

Hello Everybody!  I hope you had a great weekend.  I sure did!  I joined an amazing group of gals for a scrapbooking day (also raising money for a great (and important to me) cause - IBD-Crohns/Colitis).  I had a great time and made my daughter very happy by adding a few more pages to her (lacking compared to her brother's) scrapbook. 

 

Well, its Tuesday so you know there's some BLD inspiration to be had.  Today is a special day at BY LORI DESIGNS, as we have a great big huge BRAND NEW RELEASE to show you!  There are a ton of new adorable images in the shop today and so be sure to visit the DT members to see what they have created for you!

 

I decided to use the adorable new Puddle Jumper - Sweet Girl {available HERE}.  I love her little outfit and braids.  I used Sketch91 over at The Deconstructed Sketch and used some papers from Jillibean Soup!  Perfect just in time for Easter! 

 

 

I coloured her in with my copics and added some grass and flowers with prismacolor pencils and gamsol.  And I think I'm getting the knack for clouds again, these ones turned out much better than my first attempt!!!

KKS December Sneek Peek Day 1...

Hi everyone!  Today is a special day as we are kicking off the *New* DECEMBER Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews! 

First off, we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of Trinkets!!! We are very excited to share with you our GORGEOUS….CIRCUS TRINKETS!!! What a FUN set of awesome new stamps!!  These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8 and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!!  This month we are releasing the CIRCUS Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber. A lot of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations or to use as the focal point on your cards! They are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! No stamper's stash is complete without them! Welcome back to another fun Tuesday with By LORi Designs!  Today the design team is bringing you some fun and inspiring cards all about Winter/Christmas! 

 

I've used the brand new digi image CANDY CANE JANE on my card today.  Isn't she outta this world cute????  I printed her on Beckett Expression paper and kept it clean and simple!  My favourite style!  I added some stickles to her ear-muffs and the candy cane...*note* stickles and red copics are mortal enemies....the pigment in the red tends to bleed everytime...booooo (thumbs down).  But I didnt' use too much red so its not that obvious!  I framed her in by adding some score lines around the edges of the card with my mini scor pal.  Added some ribbon, a few buttons and a glittery snowflake and voila, done!

A totally WICKED sneak peek with a challenge on the side...

I'm having major Blogger problems today....for some reason my whole post disappeared, so here's my 2nd attempt....

Welcome to another fabulous Sneek Peek for Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!  Today we're giving peeks of an amazing new Wizard of Oz inspired stamps by Annie Rodrigue!  I'm totally in LOVE with is release in particular!  Anyone who knows me well knows that The Wizard of Oz is one of my all time favourite movies!  As a child, whenever we had a get together with family, which was often, this movie was ALWAYS in the vcr...And being the oldest of 13 cousins I was usually the last one 'standing'...I soaked it up every time!  I even made (well begged) my husband to take me to the movie theatre when they re-released it about 10 years ago....what a trooper...while he caught up on some sleep I loved every minute of it!  I've also read the book Wicked and recently saw the play which was awesome!  Anyway I could go on and on so I'll spare you some time today lol!

For my sneek peek today, I chose to use the Wicked Witch of the West, terribly misunderstood (depending on if you've read the book..hehe wink)...but one of my favourite characters!  I coloured her with copics and paper pieced her dress and hat and decided it was time to part with some of that wonderful Wizard of Oz dp from Graphic 45.  She comes with the cute sentiment too!

There's also a Sketch Challenge going on today, here it is if you would like to play along.  You could win some Krafty rubber!  What a great sketch!!!

New Images at By LORi Designs...

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to share with you a few cards from the brand new release over at By LORi Designs! There are a whole bunch of new cuties to choose from and they are knock-your-socks off adorable!!! My two cards feature Mary Jane and Todd. I think they are perfect for Valentines cards.

A new release is coming...

Until then, here's a little Christmas tag to get your Christmas mojo flowin! This was one of the make and takes from Krafty Girl Kerry at Krafty Day a few months back and I've just finally got around to colouring her up! FAB Design Kerry! Makes the PERFECT tag/accent for any Christmas gift.
I coloured EVA up with my copics and prismacolour pencils. I like the look of the coloured image on kraft cardstock, great effect! Luckily we haven't had to break out the shovels just yet! It will come soon enough and trust me I won't be looking as happy as Eva does! lol!

DAY ONE OF KRAFTY PEEKS!!!

Krafty Peeks start today!!!!

Welcome to another start of Krafty Peeks at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps! The first release of 2011 is a big one bringing you some fabulous designs from 3 artists! Today all of the Krafty Girls are showcasing all 5 animal stamps by past artist Crissy Armstrong!

I chose to use Froggy Family for my peek today! Aren't they cutest little Amphibian family?

This stamp comes with two sentiments to choose from, 'Ribbit' and "Your toadally awesome". I used my copics to colour them up but my fav part about them has to be the pearl neclace on 'Mom'. I showed you a close up so you can see. I used my new favorite crafty supply, the Viva Decor Paper Pen. I picked one up at Scrap Fest last year. They make THE BEST pearl drops. Now I had to try it a few times because the 'drops' kept running into each other so thats why you see the little shimmery residue. But I finally got the right pressure and was able to just apply a little dab as best as I could. How fun!

A new Challenge and a New Release!

We have a lot going on at Baby Bud Designs today! A brand new release and its also the start of Challenge #4!

First of all, please meet the two new cuties, Max & Molly!

Aren't they adorable? Well I think so and they are super fun to create with! They make the perfect Valentines or friendship cards, thinking of you, oh the list could go on....they are now available to purchase HERE!

Today is also the start of Challenge #4 with the Baby Buds!

The theme for this challenge is FRIENDS!

Create a project or card with some kind of friendship theme! The challenge will end on February 23, so there's LOTS of time to play! All we ask is that you use Baby Bud Image!

I coloured Molly up with my trusty copics and popped her onto a few die cuts from the Labels Eight Nestability set! I printed the sentiment from my computer with I thougth went perfectly since she's holding a big heart with both of her hands!
