Dream Big!!!

I am going thru some major card making withdrawl (LOL), and yesterday I got a scrappy little package in the mail from my friend Lisa as a thank you for being a guest designer for SSDS, thanks Lisa, it was great! So I set aside some time to do some stampin', and boy did I ever need it!!! Making cards is my outlet and with all the hype of moving, etc...I was feeling the need to get my hands all inky!!! I got this stamp from Funkykits, its a Sugar Nellie stamp and this one is called Moon Beam by Leanne Ellis. I totally fell in love with this one and just had to have it!!! I coloured her using pencil crayons and gamsol (oms). I have been playing around with this technique and find it alot of fun. It gives a pretty muted and soft look, which is completely different from the bright bold colours of the copics! I love trying new things and get inspired by all of the amazing blogs I follow! Anyway, my hubby was the inspiration for this card. Ever since we've been together he has always wanted to own a Canadian Tire store. This past month his 'big dream' came true due to years of hard work and determination. I'm 'over the moon' and so very proud of him and truly believe you can do anything you set your mind to!

Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by,

  1. Great card Krista! I keep wanting to pull out my old Prismacolours and play around with them...if only I could find them! They are a completely different look from Copics and as much as I love my Copics, it is nice to mix things up a little!

Glad you found some stamping time in the midst of all the craziness of life!
