Its Easter time with Bug & Roo!

Its another Inspiration Tuesday with By Lori Designs!  Today I'm bringing you some Easter cuteness using the brand new Easter digis by Hannah Boyd!  Serious cuteness here peeps! 

These new Bug & Roo digi stamps are perfect for those easter cards!

 I used Froggy Boy McCoy, Bunny Girl 1 and Bunny Girl 2 to create my card, because I couldn't decide on just one!  They were printed off on my printer along with the sentiment and coloured with copic markers.  I stuck with the CAS style to make the images the main attraction!!!

Spring is coming with PJ Sara...

Welcome to another Inspiration Tuesday with By LORi Designs.  Today I'm bringing you a little taste of spring, because its just around the corner and I'm soooo impatient I want it here now!!!  So I pulled out one of my very favourite paper pads ever (Echo Park Country Drive) and created a pretty little card to match the adorable digi image Puddle Jumper Sara from By LORi Designs!

 Isn't she a cutie patootie?  I love the banner she's holding too.  I also used my new flower die that my mom bought for me.  Its a Tim Holtz Alterations Paper Rosettes die and I loooove it!  It makes 2 sizes of flowers and they are super easy and fun to make.  Thanks mom.

I also used the sketch over at Jen's Deconstructing Sketch blog.  Great sketch this week and worked perfectly with my new flower die.  BUT I seemed to have misplaced my beloved Bow Easy!  I was all set to create this perfect double bow and when the time came it was nowhere.  Talk about panic city...I've never rummaged through my stuff so fast and furious before...lol anyway, that explains the lame loopy button thingy where the bow is supposed to be.  I tried to make my own bow but it looked like a wet noodle so I had to put my thinking cap on....I still can't find it....I have to get a new one...def can't live without that!

Little Ballerina!

Hi There everyone! Today Im sharing with you one of my very favourite Lollipops by my sweet friend LORi Boyd!!!

This is 'digi' AVERY and she is available for purchase in the Digi Shop

I coloured her up to resemble my daughter who just loves her dance classes! She loves wearing the pink outfit and tutu and has a blast in class! She's already claimed this card as hers!...LOL!

The sentiment was a rub on I've had forever (Melissa Francis) and the gorgeous ribbon is by Prima which I picked up at Scrappin' Great Deals!!!

Lollipop Dog!

TGIF!!!! Happy Friday everyone! I'm extra happy today 'cause I woke up to no snow outside! Yep, its been so mild lately and with the rain over night it has melted away the white stuff! Yay!

Today I'm sharing with you a cutie patootie dog from the Lollipop Shop! This is Lollipop Dog and she's only $1.00 at the By LORi Designs Digi Shop! Wow! This is a must have if you ask me!

I used some Basic Grey 'Max & Whiskers' papers and embellishments and coloured Lollipop Dog with my copics using E31-37 & E50 for the fur, W2,4,8 for the nose and YR 12&18 for the bow and collar! Hope you like it!

These digital images are so much fun to work with!

I think that Puddle Jumper Todd has to be one of my very favorite PJ's! Love him!

PJ Mary Jane is a sweetie too! I love her cute hair cut and polka dot pants!
I thought I'd keep it sweet and simple today. I printed both images off on some Beckett Expression paper and coloured them up with my copics. I used my handy Scor-Pal and ran some random score lines around the edges of the card to kinda make a frame. I added some fun buttons and some Thickers for the sentiment. Voila, a cute little pair of note cards!

Well if you know me you know that I looooove Lori's stuff. Not only is she one of my bestest friends, she's super sweet and so totally talented in every right!

Here's my card:

How cute is this little sweet pea? Her name is Baby Addy and she is being released on January 12th at By Lori Designs, along with some other SUPER cuties. I coloured her in with my copics and used a little bit of soft orange to mat her, then I popped her onto some dp by Imaginisce. I made the card base with the second largest Lacey Squares Nestability and some pink cardstock! It makes for a smaller card but its the perfect accessory for any baby gift!

The winner from this challenge will receive a GC from the By Lori Designs Shop, so you'll definately want to play along with us!!!!

A new challenge!!!!!

Welcome to another fabulous Challenge at Claudia & Co. Stamps! This month, our challenge for you is to create a 'SPOTLIGHT' somewhere on your card! This a fun technique that I have never tried before. I can't wait to see what you all come up with!

For my card I used my favorite winter PJ Winter Landon, he's available now on sale at DCRU! I stamped him twice onto neenah cardstock and cut a circle out on the part of the stamp I wanted to 'spotlight'. (On his cute little face of course!) I coloured in the image within the circle and then glued it right over top of the whole stamped image making sure to match up the lines. The dp I used was a gift from a little krafty get together I attended last weekend...I'm not sure who makes it but I looove it! Thanks to my secret santa!!! wink wink! Finally I added some snowflake embellies and a big blue bow to finish it off!

Giving Thanks with TPE!

Today at The Pink Elephant we're doing something a little bit different! We have all created a special 'Giving Thanks' card or layout in Celebration of Thanksgiving! Now being a Canadian gal, I celebrated Thanksgiving way back in October with my family and had a great time. I hope the same for my U.S. friends! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

One thing I'm thankful for is being on this wonderful team of sweet and very talented girls! You all inspire me and want to thank you all and LORI for having me on this wonderful team!!! Also to all of the amazing followers of TPE, it really couldn't be possible with out you!!! So, Thank You!!! Hmm I guess thats 2 things!!!

For my card I used a little wee stamp from DeNami, that I had never inked up. I went on a bus trip a while back to a Stamp show and found the DeNami Designs booth for the very first time. Oh my, they have the cutest little stamps, I think I grabbed some little chickie stamps for every occasion! These little pilgrim chicks are so cute I had to use them for this card! The 'So Thankful' sentiment is from Kraftin Kimmie called Thankful Sentiments!

I chose to use Winter Landon for my card and decided on the colour AQUA for my 3rd colour! I think he's one of my favorite Puddle Jumpers by Lori Boyd from the November release! I coloured him up with my copics, cut him out and popped him onto some My Minds Eye dp that I got from DCRU! I added the gorgeous pearl swirl embellishment from Basic Grey and a big brown satin ribbon to finish it off!

Winter Party Preview Day 2!!!

Hi there! Welcome to day 2 of the Winter Preview at Claudia & Co. Stamps! I hope you enjoyed what you saw on Friday, cause there's lots more to come! Today we're featuring another adorable Puddle Jumper by Lori boyd and a cute little penguin by Jane Beljo!

This is 'Winter Landon'

Oh my goodness, how cute is this little duo????? Love them!!! I coloured them up with my copic markers and cut them out with my trusty cutter bee scissors! I dug through my left over Christmas paper from last year and found some that matched his coat. I added some Perfect Puff to the pom pom on his hat and some white flowersoft for snow on the ground. I got my inspiration for the layout on this fantastic blog here! Winter Landon comes with the little teddy bear and the sentiment 'happy winter'!

Now please meet:

Party the Penguin! What a cutie patootie!!! I used my copics again to colour him up and added some orange stickles to his beak and pom pom. I used my nestabilities (ovals, & labels 10) for the backdrop. I added some rhinestones and finally got around to using the 'pleated ribbon' look that I've been dying to try. I got my inspiration for this card from my sweet friend here! 'Party the Penguin' comes with the hat as an accessory and two sentiments 'Brrr' & 'U R Cool!'

Winter Party Preview #1...

Welcome to day 1 of the Winter Party Preview at Claudia & Co. Stamps!!!! Today the wonderful design team is showing you 2 out of 6 brand new C&Co Stamps that will be released on November 5th!!!

Please meet Winter Ella (By Lori Boyd):

I looove her and her little chilly penguin friend!

I used some scrap Christmas paper I had left over from last year and coloured the image in using my copics. I added some 3D Crystal Lacquer to the penguin for some shine and wanted to add some falling snow, so I used some 'White Perfect Puff'! Its the same stuff as white liquid applique. Just add a few dots where you want, let dry overnight then heat with your heat tool and it puffs right up!

Meet Party Piper (by Lori Boyd):

I coloured up Party Piper with my copics thinking I had some perfect red and white Christmas dp in my stash, but when I went to look for it, I couldn't find it. So after looking through what felt like a thousand sheets of paper I had to settle on this new awesome paper by Imaginisce. It doesn't really match and didn't turn out as 'classic' as I wanted but it's cute enough anyway.

Halloween Princess!

Today I'm posting one of my favorite Halloween cards featuring Princess Chloe from Claudia & Co. Stamps. She is one of the latest Puddle Jumpers created by Lori Boyd and I looove her!!! I totally had the exact same little pumpkin treat holder when I was little. I would cram all the candy possible into that little round bucket...lol!!!

I added some of my own treats to Chloe's pumpkin bucket, and covered it with lots of glitter!!! I've been holding off on buying our candy this year so I don't dig in and have to buy more the night before...anyone else have that problem?...lol...

For my card I've used Cowboy McCoy!

I was a little pressed for time on this card so I had to put my thinking 'cowboy' hat on...lol...bad pun I know...Anyway I love my kraft paper and thought I'd try something I've never done before but have seen on many other cards and LOVE the look!

I stamped Cowboy McCoy directly onto the kraft cardstock and used a few prismacolor pencils and gamsol to add a bit of colour. Then I added some fun buttons and rub on and it was done in a flash!
